Getting started
- How do I create an avatar?
- Sign up for a free account and open the Forge. Pick a base style, tweak traits, write a prompt, and press Generate. Your avatar is saved to your Library automatically.
- Do I need a credit card to sign up?
- No. The Free plan works without a card. You only need to add a payment method when you upgrade to Creator or Studio.
Plans and billing
- What are the differences between plans?
- Free is great for trying galx.ai. Creator ($19/mo) raises your generation limit, unlocks faster queues, and gives priority access to new styles. Studio ($49/mo) is built for power users: maximum concurrency, batch jobs, and full commercial usage rights. See /onboarding for a side-by-side comparison.
- How do credits work?
- Each avatar generation costs 1 credit. Higher resolutions and longer batches cost more. Unused credits roll over month to month for paid plans; free-tier credits reset monthly.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes — open Billing in the dashboard sidebar and click Cancel plan. You keep paid access until the end of the current period.
Community gallery
- Are public posts really public?
- Yes. Anything you post to the community gallery is visible to anyone on the web. If you want to keep work private, save it to your Library instead.
- How does Remix work?
- Click Remix on any community post to copy its prompt into your own forge. The original creator is credited and the prompt is private to you until you choose to publish.
Account and data
- How do I delete my account?
- Email support@galx.ai from the address on your account. We will remove your profile, posts, and personal data within 30 days; backups are overwritten within 90 days.
- Who owns the avatars I generate?
- You do. Read the Terms of Service for the full breakdown — paid plans include commercial rights; the free tier is for personal use.
